Error: “Can’t connect right now”

If you see the “Can’t connect right now” error, reset the app’s state by clearing its data as described below:

  1. Open Settings on your device.
  2. Scroll down and tap Apps (or Apps & Notifications, or Application Manager, depending on your Android device model).
  3. Find and select Grammarly from the list of installed apps.
  4. In the App Info section for Grammarly, tap Storage or Storage & Cache.
  5. Tap Clear App Data at the bottom of the screen.

Note: Once you clear the app data, all notes in your Drafts will be deleted. If you have any important information stored in Drafts, please copy it to a safe location before clearing the cache.

  • The app you were using when the issue occurred.
  • The specific text we can use to reproduce the issue.
