I can’t uninstall Superhuman Go for Mac

If you try to uninstall Superhuman Go for Mac, a message may appear saying you can’t delete the program while it’s running: “The item “Superhuman Go” can’t be moved to the Bin because it’s open.”

In that case, make sure you quit Superhuman Go via your system menu bar before trying to uninstall it. To do that, click the Superhuman icon in the upper-right corner of your screen and select Quit Superhuman Go:

Then, go to FinderApplications, find Superhuman Go in the application list, and move it to Trash (or Bin). If you would also like to uninstall the Superhuman Apps Manager, find it in Applications and move it to Trash.

If this doesn’t help, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Superhuman icon in the upper-right corner of your screen, select Superhuman Go, and choose Settings
  2. In the Customization tab, switch off Launch at startup:

  3. Restart your computer and make sure that you choose not to reopen all apps after restart:

Then, try uninstalling Superhuman Go.

Alternatively, if you’re on macOS 12 Monterey or later, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Superhuman icon in the menu bar and select Manage Superhuman Apps:
