How to deploy Superhuman Go for Microsoft Edge

You can silently install Superhuman Go for Microsoft Edge on multiple computers at once using a managed software solution or deployment mechanism.

Group Policy
Registry Key

Prerequisite: Download the Edge Administrative Templates relevant to your operating system.

  1. Open Group Policy Management.
  2. Create a new GPO for the policy (or add to an existing policy).
  3. Right-click your GPO and select Edit:

  4. In the Group Policy Management Editor window that appears, expand the Computer/User configuration tree on the left-hand side, depending on how you wish to configure your policy.
  5. Right-click on Administrative Templates and select Add/Remove Templates:

  6. Click Add.
  7. Browse to the templates you downloaded and open the "msedge.adm" template that is relevant to your operating system and language:

  8. Once uploaded, expand to the following path (it may vary depending on your operating system) on the left of the Group Policy Management Editor:

    Computer/User configuration > Policies > Administrative templates > Classic administrative templates > Microsoft Edge > Extensions

  9. On the right-hand side, select Configure the list of force-installed extensions.
  10. Right-click and select Edit:

  11. Mark the Enabled button.
  12. Click the Show… button.
  13. Under the Value column, enter the following:

    fiicfmbdhpbnebmbofpphmalhgofdakc;https://clients2.google.com/service/update2/crx

    This is a Google Chrome–based extension that also works in Microsoft Edge v77+.

    Note: Make sure you have no blank spaces in the Value box below.

  14. Click OK and then click Apply.
  15. Return to the Group Policy Management window and assign this policy to users/computers.
  16. Users affected by this GPO should now see the Edge extension installed and enabled (once the GPO has been applied to their device).
  1. Find or create the following key in the registry:
    • 32-bit Windows: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Edge\Extensions
    • 64-bit Windows: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Edge\Extensions
  2. Create a new key (folder) under the Extensions key called "pomkljejojcgechkiimaggeocndnliol".
  3. In your extension key, create an "update_url" property and set it to this value: "https://edge.microsoft.com/extensionwebstorebase/v1/crx"
