This issue may occur when specific browser settings or extensions block Superhuman Go for Windows and Mac from receiving a successful login confirmation.
If you notice that you’re constantly logged out, even though you previously logged in to your account, or that the login attempt doesn’t go through successfully, follow the instructions below for your operating system.
As a first step, temporarily turn off your VPN, proxy, antivirus, and firewall software. If you are not sure you’re using a proxy, this article may help: How can I tell if I use a proxy server?
If temporarily turning off your antivirus and firewall software helps, we suggest adding Superhuman Go to your software’s allowed list to resolve the issue.
If the issue persists, reinstall Superhuman Go for Windows by following the steps below:

Click the Superhuman icon in the system tray and select Open Superhuman:

In the window that appears, click on the three-dot icon (···) next to Superhuman Go and select Uninstall.
- Alternatively, right-click the Start button and select Apps and Features. Click on Superhuman Go for Windows and select Uninstall.

If you use Windows 11, right-click the Start button and select Installed Apps. Then, find Superhuman Go for Windows, click on the three-dot icon (···), and select Uninstall:

In the Superhuman Platform application, click Install next to Superhuman Go to reinstall it:
- Once the installation is complete, click Sign in to Superhuman Go and enter your login credentials.

Quit Superhuman Go for Mac: Click the Superhuman icon in the menu bar at the top of your screen, and select Superhuman Go → Quit:
If you’re on macOS 11 Big Sur, click the Superhuman icon and select Quit right away.

Open Terminal. Terminal is the macOS tool for advanced commands. To open it:
- Press Command (⌘) + Spacebar.
- Type “Terminal” and press Enter.

Remove saved Superhuman Go credentials:

Copy the four commands below (all at once):
security delete-generic-password -l 'com.grammarly.ProjectLlama.superhuman.authToken' || true security delete-generic-password -l 'com.grammarly.ProjectLlama.superhuman.trustedDeviceID' || true security delete-generic-password -l 'com.grammarly.ProjectLlama.superhuman.oauth2Credentials' || true security delete-generic-password -l 'com.grammarly.ProjectLlama.superhuman.fallbackCredentials' || true -
Paste them into the Terminal window and press Enter. These commands only delete Superhuman Go’s saved login information — nothing else on your Mac will be changed.

Reopen Superhuman Go for Mac using one of these methods:
- Click the Superhuman icon in your menu bar, select Open Superhuman, and click Open next to Superhuman Go.
- Open Launchpad, search for Superhuman Go, and click to open it.
- Alternatively, open Finder, select Applications in the sidebar, and double-click Superhuman Go.
- Sign in to your account. Once the old credentials are cleared, sign-in should complete successfully.
If the issue persists and you’re on macOS 12 Monterey or later, reinstall Superhuman Go by following the steps below:

Click the Superhuman icon in the menu bar and select Open Superhuman:

In the window that appears, click on the three-dot icon (···) next to Superhuman Go and select Uninstall.
- Alternatively, go to Finder → Applications, find Superhuman Go in the application list, and move it to Trash (or Bin).
- If you can’t locate Superhuman Go in the Applications folder or don’t have administrative permissions, follow these steps:
- Open Finder.
- Press Command + Shift + G.
- Paste ~/Applications and press Enter.
- Find Superhuman Go in the list and move it to Trash (or Bin).

In the Superhuman Platform application, click Install next to Superhuman Go to reinstall it:
- Once the installation is complete, click Sign in to Superhuman Go.
If you’re on macOS 11 Big Sur, follow these steps instead:
- Click the Superhuman icon in the menu bar and select Quit.
- Go to Finder → Applications, find Superhuman Go in the application list, and move it to Trash (or Bin).
- Open a different browser and download Superhuman Go for Mac.
- After the file is downloaded, locate it on your computer, double-click it, and follow the on-screen instructions to install Superhuman Go for Mac.
- Once the installation is complete, click Sign in to Superhuman Go.
