The plagiarism checker is turned off by default. For steps on how to check your document for plagiarism against an index of publicly accessible websites and major proprietary databases, please select one of the supported product offerings below:
If you're using the Grammarly Editor, open or create a new document and click the Plagiarism button in the lower-right corner:
If you’d like to check your text for plagiarism in Grammarly for Mac and Windows, please open a document in Microsoft Word or Apple Pages, click the floating widget, and click the quotation marks in the upper right corner.
If you use Grammarly for Mac and you do not see the quotation marks in the upper-right corner of the Grammarly window, please check whether you are using assistive technology such as Keyboard Navigation, Full Keyboard Access, or VoiceOver.
If you’re using one of these features, consider turning it off and checking if the issue persists.
If you’re using the Grammarly browser extension in Google Docs, open the Grammarly sidebar and click Plagiarism in the lower-right corner:
If you’re using Grammarly for Microsoft Office on Windows, go to the Grammarly tab in Word and click Plagiarism:
If you’d like to check your text for plagiarism in Grammarly for Microsoft Word on Mac, open Grammarly’s sidebar and click Plagiarism in the lower-right corner:
