I don't see the G icon in text fields

Follow the troubleshooting steps for your browser below to resolve the issue.

Chrome
Safari
Firefox

Check that the Grammarly extension is installed and enabled:

  1. Copy-paste this string into your address bar: chrome:extensions and press Enter.
  2. See if Grammarly for Chrome appears on the list of extensions; confirm that the Enabled checkbox is checked.

Ensure that Grammarly for Chrome is up and running:

  1. Click the Grammarly for Chrome extension icon in the extension bar.
  2. See if the pop-up that appears is blank. If it is blank, check out this article.

Try disabling any other extensions you're using:

  1. Copy-paste this into the address line: chrome:extensions
  2. Toggle all other extensions except Grammarly off.

Check that the Grammarly extension is installed and enabled:

  1. Copy-paste this string into your address bar: about:addons and press Enter.
  2. Locate Grammarly for Firefox on that page and ensure it’s not disabled.

Ensure that Grammarly for Firefox is up and running:

  1. Click the Grammarly icon in the extension bar.
  2. See if the pop-up that appears is blank. If it is blank, check out this article.

Try temporarily disabling all other extensions you're using:

  1. Copy-paste about:addons into your address bar and press Enter.
  2. Disable all extensions except Grammarly.

Check that the Grammarly extension is installed and enabled:

  1. Open Safari Preferences by either navigating to Safari > Preferences or pressing Command + Comma (,)
  2. Navigate to the Extension tab.
  3. Find Grammarly for Safari on the list of extensions and verify that the Enable Grammarly for Safari checkbox is checked.

Ensure that Grammarly for Safari is up and running:

  1. Click on the Grammarly for Safari extension icon in the extension bar.
  2. See if the pop-up that appears is blank. If it is blank, check out this article.

Try disabling all other extensions you're using:

  1. Go to Safari > Preferences (or use Command ⌘+ Comma).
  2. Select the Extensions tab and untick the boxes next to each extension.
