How to navigate Go
When you open Go on desktop or go to go.superhuman.com, you’ll see Go in full screen. This is what you’ll find and how to use it.
Starting a task
To start a task, type what you want done in the chat box.
You can also use these shortcuts to open a chat with Go:
- Mac: Ctrl + Cmd + Shift + G
- Windows: Ctrl + Alt + Shift + G
For connector-specific tasks, like Calendar, Jira, or Outlook, just ask naturally: “Create a Jira ticket,” “What’s on my calendar tomorrow?”, or “Draft a reply to this email.”
Using the left-side panel
The left-side panel shows your full list of agents and tasks. It’s split into three sections:
- Agents: Shows published agents, such as Grammarly, Reader Reactions, AI Grader, and Plagiarism Checker, that you’ve installed, as well as any custom agents you’ve created. Click See more to open the full Agents list, where you can search for a specific agent or browse the complete list. From here, you can also select Create an agent to build your own, or browse Agent Store to find more.
- Tasks: Lists your recent and in-progress tasks, so you can jump back into any of them with a click.
- Connectors: This is where you can view and manage the apps you’ve connected to Go.
Connecting your apps
Go works best when it can connect to the apps you already use. In the Connectors section, you can connect to apps like Gmail, Outlook & Calendar, Slack, Salesforce, Superhuman Docs, Notion, and Zoom.
Note: Connectors are available in paid subscriptions.
Once you’re connected, you can bring in context from your connected apps automatically when you ask Go for help.
Checking on background work
You don’t have to sit and watch Go work. Once you kick off a task, feel free to close the tab and come back later. You can also see your tasks on other devices, since Go runs in the cloud. Go will:
- Keep working in the background while you do other things.
- Let you know when a job is done, or if it needs a bit more information or your approval to keep going.
- Add anything that needs your review to your task list, so you can approve, edit, or dismiss it whenever it’s convenient for you.
How to use Go at work
With Go, you can move through your day with more confidence, knowing you have the context and cues to spot what matters and make informed decisions.
Visit Superhuman Go and select Open Go. This opens Go in your Grammarly client so you can start using it in your everyday workflows.
How Go works with you
Unlike AI tools that require you to switch tabs, paste in context, and write a prompt from scratch, Go works alongside you in the flow of work.
Depending on where you are working, Go can:
- Underline content that may need your attention, so you can review, verify, or revise it before sharing.
- Respond to highlighted text, giving you help exactly where you need it without losing your place.
- Chat about the page in front of you, helping you catch up, prepare, or make progress on your next task.
- Label emails, so you can quickly see which messages need a response or follow-up.
You remain in control at every step: review Go’s suggestions and decide what to accept, edit, or ignore.
Understand complex information faster
When you are reviewing a lengthy report, a detailed proposal, or a complex email thread, highlight the section you want to understand and ask Go for help.
For example, you can ask Go to:
- Explain a complex passage in simpler terms, clarify unfamiliar terminology.
- Summarize key points, decisions, or metrics.
- Identify the main takeaway from a long document or thread.
Go helps you get up to speed without leaving the page or manually copying information into another tool.
Prepare for meetings and stay on top of your work
Go can help you turn existing information into a clear plan for what is next.
For example, you can ask Go to:
- Create a daily briefing that highlights completed work, in-progress items, and priorities.
- Prepare you for a meeting by summarizing relevant notes, documents, or conversations.
- Draft an email response using relevant context from your inbox, calendar, or the web.
Review and tailor the result before you send or share it.
Refine your writing in the flow of work
When you have drafted an email, update, or document, highlight the text and ask Go to make the change you need.
For example, you can ask Go to:
- Make your message clearer, more concise, or more direct.
- Adjust the tone for a stakeholder, client, or colleague.
- Turn rough notes into a polished project update.
Because Go responds directly to selected text, you can improve your writing without interrupting your workflow.

From the Connectors section, you can connect to apps like Gmail, Outlook & Calendar, Slack, Salesforce, Superhuman Docs, Notion, and Zoom, among others. Once connected, Go can bring in context from those apps automatically when you ask for help. Connectors require a paid subscription.
