Can Grammarly detect if someone’s writing indicates suicidal ideation and provide them with supportive resources?

We understand that some people may use our product for writing assistance with extremely sensitive content, such as the expression of suicidal intent. We care deeply for the well-being of our users and community and believe it’s important to share the right resources and experts in times of need.

Within the Grammarly Editor and Grammarly browser extension, users may see a prompt (shown below) if our product has detected text that could indicate suicidal ideation. With the “Find support” button, we have partnered with Find a Helpline, who will help find local resources for users depending on their country of residence.
