To resolve this issue, please reinstall the application by following the steps below:
Windows
- Click the Start button.
- Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features.
- Right-click on Grammarly and select Uninstall.
- Download and install the app again from this page.
If this doesn’t help:
- Open Credential Manager.
- Click on Windows Credentials.
- Remove all the entries starting with Grammarly_DesktopEditor by clicking on each entry, choosing Remove, and confirming the deletion:
macOS
- Click on Finder.
- Select Applications in the Finder sidebar.
- Drag the Grammarly app from the Applications to Trash (or Bin).
- Download and install the app again from this page.
If it doesn’t help, please do the following:
- Open Keychain Access by pressing Command + Space on your keyboard, typing in Keychain Access, and hitting Enter.
- Select the login keychain in the left-hand sidebar.
- Remove all the Grammarly_DesktopEditor entries.
