How to install Grammarly for Microsoft Office on a terminal server

Important: Grammarly for Microsoft Office will no longer be updated. We suggest switching to Grammarly for Windows (if you use Windows 10 or newer) or Grammarly for Mac (if you use macOS 10.15 or newer), which supports integration with multiple applications and websites, including Microsoft Office apps. 

If you prefer to continue using Grammarly for Microsoft Office, it can be installed on a terminal server or in a Citrix Environment by following these steps:

  1. Download Grammarly for Microsoft Office at https://www.grammarly.com/office-addin/downloading
  2. Double-click the GrammarlyAddInSetup.exe file
  3. When you see the Welcome to Grammarly window, press and hold the Shift and Ctrl keys on your keyboard and then click Get Started
  4. Check the box next to Install for all users and click Next:

If you’d like to do a silent installation, please run this command in the command line:

GrammarlyAddInSetup.exe /fastforallmode /silent

You can use this command for uninstallation:

GrammarlyAddInSetup.exe /fastforallmode /silent /uninstall
