I see “This browser or app may not be secure” when trying to log in

This issue may occur if you are trying to log in to Grammarly’s desktop app using Google as your sign-in method. 

We suggest that you reinstall the Grammarly desktop app to resolve the issue.

  1. Click the Start button
  2. Go to Control Panel -> Programs and Features
  3. Right-click on Grammarly and select Uninstall
  4. Click this link to install the app again

Note: If you experience this issue when trying to log in to Grammarly for Microsoft Office, please check this article for troubleshooting steps.

  1. Click on Finder
  2. Select Applications in the Finder sidebar
  3. Drag the Grammarly app from the Applications folder to the Trash (located at the end of the Dock)
  4. Click this link to install the app again
