Grammarly Premium plan remains available through the App Store and Google Play. It includes all core writing features — full-sentence rewrites, tone suggestions, plagiarism detection, and 1,000 monthly generative AI prompts — and works across both mobile and desktop. It’s designed for individual users and doesn’t include team features or admin controls.
Grammarly Pro offers the full Grammarly experience for individuals and teams. Available via web purchase, it includes everything in Premium plus twice the generative AI prompts (2,000/month), team functionality for up to 149 members, and additional collaboration tools like style guides, brand tones, knowledge share, snippets, and usage analytics.
If you’re an individual looking for a powerful writing assistant on mobile and desktop, Premium is a great fit. If you want to use Grammarly with your team at work, Pro is the right plan.
If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, you don’t need to do anything — your Premium plan isn’t changing. If you purchased Premium directly through Grammarly’s website, you’ll be upgraded to Pro at no extra cost.
Can I opt out of the migration?
Unfortunately, we don’t currently provide an option to opt out of the migration.
When will my plan be updated?
Beginning in March 2025, we started migrating Grammarly Premium users to our new Grammarly Pro plan. This change is happening gradually, so the timing may vary. Your billing amount will remain the same. Unfortunately, we can’t share an exact date at this time.
Will my pricing change?

Note: If you add more seats to your Grammarly Pro plan, you will be charged a prorated amount for every new team member you invite to join your account. The prorated charge amount depends on the time remaining until your subscription renewal or expiration date.
