1. Log into Grammarly. Click here to sign in and go directly to the Refer Friends tab.
Note: If you don’t see the Refer Friends tab, please read the FAQ below to make sure that you are eligible for Grammarly’s referral pilot program.
2. Refer coworkers and friends. Send a referral by copying your personal invite link and sharing it.
3. Get Grammarly Premium for free. Once someone uses your link to create a new account and registers for a free month of Grammarly Premium, you get a referral reward.

Am I eligible to refer a friend and get Grammarly Premium for free?
To be eligible for Grammarly’s referral pilot program, you must have a Grammarly Premium account that has been active for at least 90 days. New Grammarly Premium accounts, Grammarly Free accounts, Grammarly for Business, Grammarly for Education, and Grammarly Pro accounts, as well as Grammarly subscriptions purchased via the App Store or Google Play Store, are not currently eligible to participate in the referral pilot program.
Who can I refer to Grammarly Premium?
The referral offer is for first-time Premium users only.
My referral forgot to use my referral link. Can I still receive a referral reward?
Unfortunately, we can’t apply a referral reward to your subscription unless your referral used your unique link when signing up.
How do I send a referral?
If you’re eligible, you can find your personal referral link in the Refer Friends tab in your account settings at https://account.grammarly.com/referrals. Copy your unique link and send it to the person you want to refer. If they sign up using your link, you’ll both get a month of Grammarly Premium for free.
How many months of Grammarly Premium can I earn?
You earn a free month for each new user who signs up with your link and registers for a free month of Grammarly Premium. You can earn up to ten months of Grammarly Premium for free by referring coworkers and friends.
How do I know if I got credit for referring someone?
When someone successfully signs up for Grammarly using your referral link, you’ll receive an email letting you know. You can also check the status of your referral rewards in the Refer Friends tab in your account settings at https://account.grammarly.com/referrals. When you earn a free month of Grammarly Premium, your subscription is automatically extended by a month.
Will my rewards be lost if I receive a refund for my subscription?
If you have applied referral rewards to your subscription, those rewards will be lost once the subscription is deactivated.
Can I transfer referral rewards from one account to another?
Unfortunately, referral rewards aren’t transferable between accounts. Learn how to update the email address on your Grammarly account here.
