Grammarly offers a browser extension for the following browsers:
- Chrome (version 51 and newer)
- Safari (version 12 and newer)
- Firefox (version 54 and newer)
- Microsoft Edge (version 14 and newer)
Note: Other browsers, such as Opera or Brave, are not supported at this time.
Open Google Chrome and visit the Chrome Store to install the Grammarly browser extension. Click Add to Chrome to start the download.

Open Firefox and visit the Firefox Add-ons page to install the Grammarly browser extension. Click Add to Firefox to start the download.
Click this link to open Mac App Store and install the Grammarly browser extension. Click Get > Install to start the download. When the download is finished, click Open.
Open Edge and go to the Microsoft Store to install the Grammarly browser extension. Click Get the app to start the download.
Once you’ve added the extension to your browser, click Turn it on to enable the checking:

After you have downloaded and installed Grammarly for Microsoft Edge, you should be able to use it as you write online.
