Error: "Logging in…"

If you can't log in and see a "Logging in…" message, it probably means that your proxy configuration needs to be tweaked. Follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve the issue.


  • Check if you use a proxy server by following the instructions for your OS here.
  • Check if your proxy requires authentication. Your system administrator can assist with this.
  • If yes, specify your login details by navigating to "Grammarly” on your Word toolbar -> "About" -> "Proxy settings" as shown below.
