I have a paid account, but the Grammarly add-in prompts me to upgrade

It’s possible that your Premium account is linked to a different email address. Check out our guide to finding any other accounts.

If you are certain that you are logged in with the email address associated with your Grammarly Premium account, but the Microsoft Office add-in prompts you to upgrade to the Premium version, it is important that you log out and log in again with your Premium account in Word:

  1. Click the "Grammarly" tab in Word/Outlook and press "Log out".
  2. Then, click "Log in".
  3. Sign in by entering your Premium account email address and password. If you registered using Google/Facebook, sign in by clicking Continue with Google or Continue with Facebook.
