If you see either "Text Checking Is Temporarily Unavailable" or "Error Checking Is Temporarily Unavailable", please follow the steps below:
- Make sure that you successfully pass the WebSockets tests here. If any section of your test results says Failed, take a look at this article.
- Try logging in to the desktop app again.
- Check whether you can reproduce the issue with your antivirus and/or firewall disabled. If not, make sure that your antivirus and/or firewall software allows WebSocket connection to capi.grammarly.com.
- If the issue persists, send the desktop app's console log to Grammarly Support by following the steps from this post. While the issue is being investigated, you can use the online Grammarly Editor.
