If you see the error "Error checking is temporarily unavailable. Our engineers are working quickly to resolve the issue. Please check back soon", please follow the steps below:
2. Try logging in to the desktop app again.
3. Check whether you can reproduce the issue with your antivirus and/or firewall disabled. If not, make sure that your antivirus and/or firewall software allows WebSocket connection to capi.grammarly.com.
4. If the issue persists, send the desktop app's console log to Grammarly Support by following the steps from this post. While the issue is being investigated, you can use the online Grammarly Editor.
