To troubleshoot this issue, please do the following:
- Restart the desktop app
- If the issue persists, download and install the latest version of the desktop app available at https://www.grammarly.com/native
- If you still see the same error message, check to see if you use a proxy server on your computer. If you are not sure, this article may help. Currently, the desktop app doesn’t support proxy. The good news is that this feature is on our roadmap.
