tried for 6 days, but stopped my subscription

I tried this product, but there were two major problems. I am referring to Grammarly, and I am using Microsoft Word 2007. (1) It took about 10 minutes to actually get started each time. I had to take a coffee break and come back to start working on it. This is unacceptable. (2) My keyboard began doing strange things. For example, typing a word, let's say, "fun" would type like this "ffffffuunnnnnnn." I first thought something was wrong with my keyboard. I restarted my computer, which idn't solve it. I reloaded my keyboard software, which didn't solve it. I spent over 2 hours. Then I used Word without turning on Grammarly, and I had no problems. The program itself isn't too bad, although there are very incorrect suggestions. It has some real promising qualities about it. But still it is a worthwhile program. I just didn't have enough patience to tinker with this program. It offers a 7 day trial, so I suggest you may try it.

Hello Dr. Kim,

We regret the issues you encountered and are working hard to resolve them.

When did you update the Grammarly add-in? We fixed some bugs in the latest release that could cause such problems and also made some improvements (removed Review button).

When using changes tracking, please choose "Final" mode (without showing of the markup) and close Grammarly panel before accepting or rejecting changes.

If you receive error dialog boxes, please click on "send report to developers" so we can fix them. Thank you.

Dear Valerie

I have a question about the texts we enter, after we delete them from the box where it says start review, will it disappear from the system forever? Or do I need to delete it somewhere else as well (maybe it is saved somewhere else in my account).

How exact is the plagiarism check? I scanned one of my old works, it says it only matches 11%, however in my university I got a feedback that it scored very high on Turnitin.

Thanks a lot

Dear Alisha,

Grammarly compares your text with the complete Web index, whereas Turnitin compares your text against printed materials (books, journals and their own database) and Web index. Plagiarism checks by Turitin, in general, supercedes the ones performed by Grammarly.

Once you delete your text, it is deleted forever. (Neither Grammarly nor Turitin indexes your text on the Web, so it won't show up as plagiarised.)

Dear Valerie,

I paid your website every month. But when I hit "start review", it showed " your session is expired" . Why?

I just signed up for Grammarly. I then tried to use it and found that there seems to be a limitation on the length of the document that I intend to run through Grammarly. If this is correct it is the first drawback.

I then found that in order to access and work on a document that I had processed through Grammarly I had to return to your website rather than continue the corrections in my original Word 2007 document. If this is necessary it is the second drawback.

If the two notations above are correct I wish to cancel my trial!

I got an email stating that I had created an account and not completed it?  Wow.  How did that one get past me?

Hi (name deleted),

I'd like to follow up with you on your interest in Grammarly writing support tool. You recently tried to sign up for an account on www.Grammarly.com, but never completed it.

Never completed it?  I put in my CC #, downloaded and then couldn't "find it anywhere" except in the "control panel" of my computer.  Perhaps I'm a bit confused, but does this work with JUST MS WORD/OFFICE or does it also work with Microsoft Task Launcher (the word processing program Works 9?).  At any rate, when I went to "check a document", that I wanted to test drive for the program, all there was Word Spell Check.  Grammarly was nowhere to be found.
