Using Grammarly in MS Word 2003 Creates Unwanted Multiple Letters While Typing

I've noticed that when correcting copy through Grammarly I get multiple letters in the words. There is definitely a bug in the system because this happens every time I use the program. I'm using MS 2003 - I wonder if anyone using a newer version is having the same problem?

I have the same problem.

In addition Grammarly keeps crashing MSW 2003 - ie, the cursor zooms through to the end of the text without stopping or the whole thing freezes. Very frustrating!!!

Hello Jack, Jo, and Tim,

We have done some updates last week and this problem should be resolved now.  We suggest you donwload the latest version of the add-in:

1. Uninstall your current version of Grammarly Add-In (via Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs)

2. Download the latest version from http://www.grammarly.com/desktop/ and follow the instructions of that page to install it.

3. Then, open any text document in MS Word, find Grammarly's Check button in the toolbar and press Check.

4. Enter your Grammarly account e-mail and password if prompted.

5. You should see the Grammarly sidebar with four tabs: Grammar, Spelling, Synonyms and Plagiarism. It should say Checking... and then start displaying suggestions.

Please let us know if you are encountering any issues, and please send us a screenshot if you can. That would really help us investigate possible issues.

Personally, I think that this is a multithreading bug in the Addin.  Don't edit while Grammarly is processing minimizes the errors and crashes.
