I have a large file to proofread. Sometimes the Add-in freezes when I need to check it. Is there any way to avoid that?

I clicked add on to get grammarly on my computer but now I can't copy the text I want checked.
How do I delete the add on and go back to a system that was working fine?

When using grammerly with MSWord in Office 2010, I cannot see how to adjust levels of checking the document, such as academic etc. Any suggestions as to how this works. Also, recently it has locked up, or does not indicate where the revisions need to be made, then it locks up, or freezes and I loose my document. I must have a solution for this please.

Dear Bob,
It looks like you were using an old version of the add-in. Our development team has deployed a new version, and thus, you were prompted to update yours.
In order to uninstall the add-in, please go to Start - Control panel - Programs. Find there Grammarly, and uninstall it.
Unfortunately, we do not provide users with the old version anymore. In order to download the latest version of the add-in, please follow this link:
Unfortunately, all the review styles are not available in the add-in at the moment. It is a planned feature though. We use two special styles. One is for Word, and the other - for Outlook.
Could you please describe what actions you were performing before the program started to freeze? We need to know as much information as possible in order to reproduce the error.
We suggest you save a document from time to time in order to prevent data loss. Unfortunately, auto saving is disabled during the check.
Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.

Dear P Soltani,
If you are using Microsoft Word 2007 try to do the following: 1. Open Word. Press round button in the top left corner. Click Word Options, select Add-ins. Do you see Grammarly in the list of add-ins?
2. If Grammarly is in Inactive group, select "COM-addins", in “Manage” drop down the list and click Go button. Then, check Grammarly in a list that appears.
3. If Grammarly is in Disabled group, select "Disabled items" in “Manage” drop down the list and click Go button. Then, select Grammarly and click Enable.
4. If you don't see Grammarly in the list of add-ins, this means it is installed incorrectly.
Then, remove Grammarly through Control panel - Programs and install again with GrammarlySetup.
Please contact us if you have any other questions or concerns.

I was not aware that the auto save feature was disabled. This is not at all helpful. This is why date is lost. Also, I am doing academic papers and need to have this type of checking done on my MS word add-in. Is it possible, or what is currently the status of checking?

Dear Brian,
The review style we use for the add-in is a combination of different styles. I can only tell you the features, that are disabled at the moment. They are passive voice, contractions, ending sentence with a preposition, starting sentence with a conjunction, and some others.
Please let us know if we can assist you further.

I have attempted to install the newer version of the add-in in Microsoft Office 2007 with no luck. When I try to cut and paste my text directly into Grammarly I am getting the following error:
Access to xpcom is denied.
Set "signed.applets.codebase_principal_support=true" in about:config
HELP! I love this program and need it back A.S.A.P.
Thanks,
Kelly
